Scientific Revolution: The Scientific Method

The scientific method is a series of steps that are follow in an experiment to solve a promblem,or to get to a solution. The scientist back then and now used and uses this method for their experiments. The first step in a Scientific Method is the Problem. Problem is the question or the main idea that you are trying to solve. After the Problem comes the hypothesis, hypothesis is an educated guess based on your knowledge of the topic. Sometime at the conclusion of your project your hypothesis can be proven wrong, or it can be correct.

The other steps for the Scientific Method are the Experiment, Data, and the conclusion. The Experiment is the test that you do to see if your hypothesis is correct or incorrect. Within the Experiment there is also one important step that you need is the Data. Data is the information that you take while doing your experiment to have a proof for your experiment. The last and the final step is the conclusion. Conclusion is the result of your experiment.

For example I would want to measure how tall the building i live in is? I would first form a hypothesis based on my knowledge and take an educated guess of how tall my building is. Then i would actually conduct an experiment by masuring the building from top to bottom three times. Then i would write down my data. Finally i would check and see if my hypothesis was correct or incorrect, and see my conclusion.
